Little Athletics is a modified athletics program for children of all abilities and fitness levels aged 3-17. It's based on a selection of Track & Field events that include running, jumping, throwing and walking.
Athletics is effectively 'played' as an individual sport - there's no need to achieve a baseline of performance to fit in or join the group. Your child starts from wherever they are and competes with themselves from there.
But it's also run in a group environment which means it comes with all the genefits of group or team sports: encouragement, structure and community.
The ultimate goal of Little Athletics is to see each participant build the skills of continual improvement - and then to reap the benefits of that in their mind and body fitness.
Athletics truly is the 'foundation of all sports': the program covers a range of events which build strength, speed, endurance and coordination.
We may be biased, but we see it as the perfect sport for children of all fitness and skill levels to level up their active life.
